Whada up ppls.  I got deferred!  Fuck that.  Now I have to submit all my other applications.  I was really looking forward to being accepted: that way, I'd apply to, say, two other schools (which i'd also like to go to 'sides MIT).  Then I'd be able to apply to places like Harvard & Yale & Stanford, n' fill out their applications in ebonix n' write like 18-page thesis essays.  Damn... Now I acutally have to take this application process thang seriously...

And what is with Cornell having the most retarded schools ever?  Who's ever heard of a school for HOTEL ADMINISTRATION?  What would you learn there, like making beds, dusting window sills, and vacuuming carpets?  That's what you DON'T go to college for...  And even more ridiculous than that is Cornell's School of Agriculture & Life Sciences.  I was looking at the "Applied economics and management" major when I saw that it was under AGRICULTURE & Life Sciences - I was like "Fuck that."  And the available concentrations included areas such as: farm business, food industry, environmental and resource economics, and AGRIbusiness management - probably THEE MOST RETARDED fields of study ever.  Who in their right mind would take that shit, besides for laughs?  Man, when I grow up, I'ma found mah OWN University, called Tha Hotness University.  Its students would have a whole variety of available majors to select from, including: street pharmacy, back-alley commerce, gang management, pornographic arts, materialist philosophy, black literature, arsenal engineering, robbery, ebonix, and hip-hop history.  And there'd be plenty of opportunities for prostitute or hustling internships.  Yeah, what a great idea...

Oh yeah, i hope u guys like my new harry potter icon ... it's pretty hot.  i'ma watch Lord o tha Ringz this weekend.  it'll be tha hotness.  piece.

Last night was the illness!  Shigeta (my B.House brotha), Juan (from Dow but always seen in Bhouse), Yulia (from Abbot even though she's a girl), and myself were pretty much the only ppl on campus last night.  So we all went out for dinner.  Yulia didn't have any dough cuz she had gone to walgreens to buy these stupid reindeer antlers.  But luckily, as I was cleaning my room, I stumbled upon $20 worth of Friendly's gift certificates I had kept and not used for 3 years.  So I proposed that we walk to Friendly's.

Of all nights, we picked one of the worst to walk all the way to Friendly's.  It was negative 273.16 degrees - it felt like Antartican climate or somethin.  It took a long time even though we took the bootleg way - this shortcut: first through a sketchy, poorly lighted woods area, then through people's houses, where some random ass old man sitting on his porch getting stoned decided to laugh out loud at us, and finally through some parking lots.  We arrived at our destination pretty hungry n' pretty fcuk'ing cold.  And when we got there, Yulez n' me were laughing our asses off cuz every other person near us was like XXL to the fullest.  Friendly's is a friend of obesity, we found out.  They offer the "double-thick milkshakes", the "All-American meals", which are super poisonous, and the "Fat Free" (aka 'Extra Fat') orders, such as Fried Chicken, Fried Steak, Fried Fish, and probably Fried Salad for appetizers.  Yulez began to tell me about this 'scary' dream she had the other night: she and her mom were at a hotel checking out, when the man at the front desk pulled out a knife and was like,"You ain't goin nowhere!" and started to chase her, and this random little girl on a bicycle (like in the Shining) started to chase her too - I had bursted out laughing hysterically by the time she was done cuz hearing about her dream was hilarious but thinking about the Shining was even more hilarious, n' everybody at the restaurant was staring at us.  When we got back to campus, back to B. House, I played a little (meaning, a lot) King of Fighters 2000, of course.

Oh, and I must talk bout my experience on the plane today!  I actually held a conversation wit one of the airline stewards.  He asked me what I language I spoke, I said Chinese, and spent 5 minutes trying to pronounce "We de ming zhe she" ("My name is") correctly.  He was really asking for career advice, cuz he worked for the international division of Northwest and already knew English, Spanish, and a little French, but wanted to pick up a "different, unique" language.  Chinese, Japanese, German, and Italian were his choices.  He complained that the women in the Japanese airport were too submissive, too polite and bowing 24/7, and that German was too "Nazi-like".  So I told him, "Chinese people are generally racist.  They don't like to interact with black people, and they don't bother to understand black culture.  So you'll probably have a tough time.  Though by learning Chinese, you will distinguish yourself from everybody else by being one of the few black people to know the language.  Plus, the 2008 Olympics are coming up and they'll be held in Beijing."  Chinese people are definitely racist, sexist, and too stubborn to correct themselves.  They refuse to take any businesswomen seriously, even if some are sent by prominent Western corporations.  In America, old-generation Chinese people will see a black man through the common stereotype of a gangsta who'll stick you up n' rob yo ass in tha streetz, while in Asia, Chinese people are so behind the times that half of the population probably thinks slavery in the US still exists.  And even with this economic boom, the nation of China is going to sit on its Communist ass, reject any proposals for government reform and retain all its old-fashioned ways.  Anyways, my advice was that: if he really wanted to distinguish himself from the rest of society as much as he claimed, he should learn Chinese or German, since not that many blacks speak either of the two languages.  But of course, I knew that he would choose Italian over them, simply for practical reasons, and that people like him who claim "I like to be different" usually want some sort of unique trait or skill that will give them some sort of recognition or distinction from 'ordinary society' but are not willing to go through too extreme a means to attain it.

Anways... I'ma go look up some grimey infinite combos for Kof2k...

I need to f---in start on f---in apps!!!  AHHH!!!  whoa i'm gettin a lil' ahead o' myself.  lemme start wit my saturday night...

so it's H format.  I've just come outta math club, where I spent 5 minutes NOT doing math but instead reading the last five pages of Walker Percy's The Moviegoer.  I now gottago to English and churn out an in-class.  I spend almost two hours churning out this essay, in which my ideas and arguments are mad abstract and unfounded - but anyways I finish at 12:40.  get out, go to D. Hall, nobody there, i see buses outsides but go inside n' nobody i know is there either.  where did everybody go?  so i go back to my room, call up Debbie n' go chillz at Merrill for most of the afternoon until 4.

So after packing n' all, my dad's friend picks me up at 6 to take me out to dinner.  we go to this chinese buffet place.  and it is SO GHETTO - "just TOO GHETTO" i thought as I step in.  the ppl there are your typical obese, overweight, friedchicken-luvin-frieddough-munchin Americans.  So I find myself obliged to eat quite a bit since it is a buffet and I am surrounded by all these people eating their money's worth and to their heart's content.  Yeah, my stomach wasn't the hottest thing in the world that night.  After, we drop by Fox Run, I consider buying the latest Abercrombie seasonal brochure for 7 bucks and finally decide against it.  I do buy Britney's new ish though - and it is AMAZZING i tell u.  here's a sample of her lyrics: "Imaginations taking over / Another day without a lover / The more I understand, the touch of my hand."  yeah, i know you love that!  too bad the little 13 year old girls won't understand it, but they will gasp when she blatantly says "Fuck" in the middle of track 10.  anyways, after dinner and mall, I want to go back to my room and spend the night in my dorm.  so i make up a little excuse about wanting to finish some homework so that I can carry one less textbook to Cali.  Back in my room, i feel a bit guilty, so I do do my physics homework (and the missing physics textbook lightens up my bag considerably).

Sunday morning: wake up at eight for no good reason.  Why don't I go work out in the gym and burn everything from last night's dinner?  Bad idea, I find out after I walk to Thompson and find out that it's locked.  Oh well, I'll just run a few laps around the track.  Bad idea, again, as it's fuckin cold as hell and i'm about to get frostbite on my 2nd lap.  So I go back to B House, take a nice shower, and BAM!!! - 10 minutes before my dad's friend is supposed to pick me up for my flight in 2 1/2 hours - I realize that I left my ATM card in the machine last night.  what a bummer...  so we endup going to foxrun, it's not there cuz security isn't in charge of lost-n-found but customer service is and they dont' come for an hour but my flight is in 2 hours so i don't have the friggin time to wait so i take down a number and plan to call customer service later.

In the air, I stuff myself again by eating their pretty damn good airplane food.  and when I finally arrive in Cali, I quickly solve my ATM card problem by calling Citizens's, and, upon finding out that no bastard took advantage of my blunder and withdrew any cash from my already low-in-dough account, asked them to mail me a new card.  That saves me $3 in mall bus fares and 5 hours of time.  Yay!

So, on the plane and part of yesterday, I reread Moviegoer, trying to make sense of the ending.  I tried to tie everything into one large, universal theme - without success.  and i realized that maybe this Percy dude wasn't as good a theorist as I thought he was.  and i sent my english teacher a 5 page email telling him so.  And now I'm here typing away on Xangers, as Danielee prefers to name-tag it, not having written a single essay or checked off a single sex:male_female checkbox on any of my damn applications.  Fcuk.  How am I gonna go shopping on the weekend if I don't got all this ish done? haha  me n' chris chen r chillin like two villains tomorrow watchin kill bill vol 1 and looney tunes.  did i mention that i dreamdt of exeter last night?  haha i must miss it alot.

o btw .. this is the hotness:
